*HIV+ clients from Charlotte County are referred to the Desoto DOH for treatment and assistance
*HIV+ persons from anywhere in the state who qualify may go there for HIV/AIDS treatment
*All clinical fees are based upon a sliding scale and there is a cap restricting the amount that a client is expected to pay

*If a client walks into health department and requests standard HIV blood test (non-rapid, non-OraSure), he/she will automatically get a test using 4th generation technology; he/she can still have a rapid test, but it will not be done using 4th generation technology; there should be no additional or increased fee for the 4th generation test
