*Provides past due rent, mortgage and utility assistance to families threatened with eviction or foreclosure to prevent homelessness; Any assistance provided is dependent upon the caller's ability to pay future rent/utilities etc; anyone without a stable source of income is unlikely to qualify for assistance.
*Family Promise creates a new waitlist for this assistance on a monthly basis.
*Callers can reach out to info@familypromisebigbend.org if they don't receive contact over the phone/can't use their phone. VM must be set up/not full for Family Promise to properly reach out. Can email after calling if they aren't followed up with in a timely manner
*Covers Leon, Jefferson, Madison, Taylor, Gadsden, Liberty, Wakulla, and Franklin Counties.
*Call (850) 792-9437; if no one answers, callers should a message and someone will contact them within 24 hours (or the next business day if they call on the weekend or a holiday).

Eligibility:
Must be at imminent risk of homelessness; Must have a written past due rent notice OR three-day NOTICE TO TENANT letter; Documentation must convey that eviction will be pursued if past due payment is not addressed; Or must have documentation regarding the imminent need to vacate current household (such as the end of permitted cohousing, domestic violence, etc.)
