Magnolia Project, The
*Central urban project located in the Pearl Street DOH clinic to improve health and well-being of women during childbearing years (ages 15-44), who have had: a previous poor birth outcome, a birth when 15 or under, no regular source of health care, substance abusing women, a history of health or psychosocial problems, a history of casual, high-risk unprotected sex, or a high-risk referral by child protection services or other agencies
*Comprehensive assessment, clinical services, case management, health and mental health education, outreach and children's services offered to women living in certain zip codes, 32202, 04, 06, 08, 09, and 54, pregnant or able to become pregnant
*Low cost health exams, free pregnancy testing, prenatal care, STD testing, family planning, gynecological check-ups
*Pregnant women offered classes and peer support
*Financial evaluation as fees are based on sliding scale for women with no insurance coverage
