*Confidential and anonymous HIV testing
*Works to medically treat HIV/AIDS patients and to partner with county/federal government agencies to establish a means for patients with HIV/AIDS to get treatment regardless of their ability to pay
*HIV symposium, held annually, combines opportunities for all level of HIV/AIDS researchers with presentations, poster displays, and panels with community partners, promotion of education and mentorship programs, and partnering with community organizations, the CFAR aims to participate in the initiative to End the HIV Epidemic by implementing strategies to Diagnose, Treat, Prevent, and Respond
*Promotes scientific interest groups: Vaccine & Immunology, Cure/Reservoirs, Health Equity (includes Prevention, Substance Abuse), HIV and Women, Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) and AIDS Related Malignancies
*Facilitates patients ability to get treatment from any UM medical department
*Primary care, psychosocial counseling, and other specialty care services to include case management
