*The homeless shelter in Tallahassee for adult men and women with no children (aka Comprehensive Emergency Services Center) *Callers who are located outside the Big Bend’s eight-county region will be referred to seek services with their local Continuum of Care *One-stop service center for homeless and near-homeless people: referrals and assistance for housing, benefits (Food Stamps,TANF, VA, Medicaid, etc), employment, medical, training, GED classes, help with getting a Florida photo ID card or driver's license, prescription assistance and case management during daytime *Daytime Services: M-F, laundry, showers, access to phones and computers, access to case management, and supportive services from partnering agency representatives on-site *Persons staying at the shelter may receive bus passes *Persons not staying at the shelter may receive bus passes if they have a bus pass referral from another agency *Medical services provided nightly 5:30pm-7:30pm by nursing staff *Targets homeless and near-homeless persons experiencing an emergency *Designed to serve clients face-to-face; calls can not always be answered due to limited staff *Sex offenders can get daytime services and meals, but can not stay in the shelter due to its proximity to Hope House *Rapid Confidential HIV testing with results in 15 minutes for shelter residents and anyone in the community, 10am-2pm, every first, third and fifth Wednesday *Free full dental services M-F, 8am-1pm and 2pm-5pm in Kearney Center; must be a participant at Kearney Center, Westgate or Dwellings, Leon County resident, 18 years of age with no other access to dental care, and meet Federal Poverty Guidelines
